MY LANDSCAPE BLOG

Landscape & Travel Photographer & Filmmaker in Tokyo, Japan, Asia.

Photography from a few of the places I have been. Japan, Australia, Asia and elsewhere. Some of it is my artwork. Some were commercial assignments and some were just happy snaps along the way.

One of my passions is landscape photography and although photography and filmmaking is my work it is also my hobby. I love traveling and being amongst nature and get a great thrill from finding and photographing epic landscapes in beautiful light.

Cityscape Photography, Sunset behind Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo, Japan.

The Rainbow Bridge is an impressive suspension bridge that joins Odaiba to Shinagawa ward in Tokyo. It took 6 years to build and it opened in 1993. I photographed the bridge from Daiba park which is a great place to watch the sun set behind Tokyo with this impressive bridge in the foreground. It is also an old Fort built by the Tokugawa shogunate in 1853 to protect Tokyo from sea attack and well worth a visit.

Travel Photography, Shibuya Scramble Square, Tokyo, Japan.

Whilst shooting a travel editorial for the Virgin inflight magazine we visited the new Shibuya Sky viewing deck on top of the Shibuya Scramble building. It is a great view for photographing cityscapes of Tokyo and seeing this massive city. It is the perfect place to see the sunset and to see the glow of Tokyo come to life.

Landscape Photography. On the Road in the Kimberley.

Driving through the Kimberley was an amazing experience. I just wish I had more time to sop and appreciate it. I was filming and photographing for an art installation project with a really tight schedule. But the beauty of that country really captured me and I hope to go back some time soon!!
